it will most likely be very costly to get rid of right away. maybe consider keeping the lease for a few months in your driveway

That only makes it more expensive. Getting someone to take it over for a few months would help.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Will probably be very easy to have someone rent it for the next few months. Many people are looking for cars for the summer

Depends on the car manufacturer.
What car are we talking about?

Could be, but unlikely one month into the lease. The residual would probably still be too high.

Is there any change or update with the Nissan Policy? Or am I out of luck if I have a Nissan lease that I would like to do a dealer buyout sometime in the next few months?

I am putting a lot more miles on the car lately and will end up going way over my limits at the current pace, so was hoping to get it bought out and figure out a better option.
Would a Nissan dealer directly be interested in buying out my lease?

I'm going to try that route. I wonder how competitive their offer would be

Just price out the 3rd parties and ask them to match. They probably don't know Nissan's policy recently changed
