Also another major difference is the lack of 20% amex and discover promo which used to go off original price which got me samsonite luggage sets for $20 etc.

Funny to see how people think.
Personally, I used up all the credit and gift cards I earned and bought, without a cent out of my pocket.  ;D

Now I'm just waiting for my no rush credits to post so the cycle can begin again

Hopefully they'll bring their A game for BF/CM. Perhaps the proximity to those dates are why the deals have been weak?
Not surprised to see AMZN stock price down.
