In 2018, Cuomo had about 60% of the vote, but only 48% of eligible voters voted - > so he was literally only elected by about 30% of the people of NY.
In 2017, DeBlasio had about 65% of the vote, but the estimated turnout was 18% - so really only about 11-12% of all NYC voters voted for him.
