Time To Go:  New York Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jerry Nadler on Friday joined the chorus of Democrats calling for embattled Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign amid mounting allegations of misconduct.

These allegations have all been consistent and highly-detailed, and there are also credible media reports substantiating their accounts," Ocasio-Cortez and Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., said in a statement.

Nadler, meanwhile, called the accusations "credible" and "serious." He said that while Cuomo is guaranteed due process, "the question before us is squarely a political judgment."

"Governor Cuomo has lost the confidence of the people of New York. Governor Cuomo must resign."

We got into a power struggle with a control freak. We should've been the adults in the room that worked on deescalation and disobeying the orders quietly without fanfare, while publicly appearing to be following mandates to allow Cuomo to save face. If we could've done that concurrently with a concerted effort to bring down positivity rates, and while studiously massaging Cuomo's ego for his cooperation with local officials and community leaders, this could've been done in 2 weeks, with Cuomo claiming another victory. Instead, we let the clown shows and 6 year olds dominate the media, got into shouting matches in public, and generally let this devolve into a mess that could easily have been avoided when a bit of discipline and maturity. We know how to play the diplomacy game as well as anyone, and to allow whatever narcissists to save face. We just couldn't control the children, and our own inner children, from taking over.
