Alberta to pilot COVID-19 testing at border that would shorten quarantine time: 14-day self-isolation period could be chopped to about 48 hours if traveler receives negative COVID-19 test.
Would require a negative test on day 1 and a commitment to test again on day 6 or 7. Only available in Alberta and only for Canadian citizens, but I hope they expand it to other provinces and even to non-Canadians quickly.
This could be a game changer for US-Canada travel, and is long overdue IMHO.
