I saw that posted on the lounge this morning.Has to be a price mistake, since prices are much higher on LY
Not a mistake there's a sale running for agents to most locations elal fly and also available on business
https://passportnews.co.il/אל-על-מציעה-לסוכנים-הנחות-של-100-300-דולר-בטי/"תוקף לכרטיסים שמונפקים החל מ-6.10, שמועד המראתם עד ל-30.11.20"
Gulliver seem to have an expanded deal with flight dates after Nov 30th and other destinations than those mentioned in the article.Nevertheless a good deal if you need to fly or want to take a chance with long term travel plans for next year
Thanks.why wouldn't elal do a promo of their own? Instead of pushing ppl to OTA and TA?
El Al knows very well that no travel agent will market their product today without a big incentive. El Al also knows that TAs are very influencial in pushing the masses one direction or the other. Some TAs have no issues marketing an $1800 "open ticket" to a student, over a $1,000 ticket on UA with free changes.... See DDMS article on the topic...
Interesting.Do we know what's the split between direct booking and TA booking?
Please explain
What % of LY total revenues is generated through TAs?
Can one book J on Gulliver?
Looking at the schedule for BKK in 2021, they still advertize 11h flight duration westbound and 11:20 eastbound.Did they not read about KSA overfly?Or anyway they don't care since they know that Thailand won't be open anytime soon
They're not flying their 787s over KSA.
The lack of skyshield is really going to haunt them.
