In 2020 it appeared the extremists got too far in the primaries for the moderates to survive, except for Biden who made a career of surviving when everyone else drops out.

Hillary's unfavorable polls were way worse than Biden.

He may have won only because Democrats were convinced he had no chance and didn't show up. Bibbi always has a 'givaald' campaign on Election Day for this reason.

I'm not convinced about the likeability being such an issue. I voted for Bloomberg for his second term, despite being disgusted by him. And even for his third term, there was no viable candidate running against him.

Deblasio isn't likeable by any stretch of anyone's imagination, but he won twice because he was on a certain ticket with no one competent running against him. The NY republican party must be the most incompetent political organization.

She had massive support that voted for her and not against Trump.
I dislike her but I can put that aside and be objective.
