How do you stay mad for so many years? It’s not healthy

In my years (decades) of following politics I’ve seen that republicans are mad when they lose, democrats are mad when they lose but especially when they win. Democrats had Obama for 8 years, controlled House & Senate, Obama was delivering on his promises. You’d think they’d be happy as can be. But they were angrier than ever.
Besides for the one incident with Chris Matthews feeling the thrill up his leg.
