When I saw they blocked the Parkway I thought it was terrible to close the highway, until I found out they all stopped when the cops wouldn't let them off.

It wasn't well organized. The rest stops were getting overrun by the rally so the cops understandably shut it down. The cops I met seemed like they would love to join the rally but they're just doing their job. Meanwhile there's a whole convoy of confused people not sure what to do, where to go, some people legitimately needed the bathroom, etc. I wonder how long the stoppage at Cheesequake lasted.
