There is a lot of panic among frum Trump supporters about the notion that Biden may be our next president. Although I am a Trump supporter and I really want Trump to win, I think the cause for panic is somewhat overblown.
I hate to be the voice of negativity, but unfortunately the concern is not overblown. At the very least, even if total panic is unnecessary, there is definitely a significant level of concern.
From a simple perspective, I remember having that feeling when this former Muslim named Obama won, and Jews flocked to get passports. Yes, we may have had a few hiccups during his eight years, but we are all here to tell the tale. (Unless your name is Kayla Mueller).
Obama could have been far worse. He was reined-in in 2010 by the GOP taking back the House, and in 2014 by taking back the senate. But before that happened, he shoved Obamacare through. If Obama retained the House and Senate for his entire tenure, we would be looking at European-style socialism in the U.S. right now. I never though Obama was a direct threat to Jews in the US, but I did and still do think that he was a threat to Israel's security.
Regarding the Supreme Court, which probably has the biggest consequence for frum Jews, I personally don't feel that Biden, or even Harris, will pack the courts. I think that they will not get enough votes from their own party in the House and Senate for it, and it is almost a guaranteed ticket for them to lose control of both branches of the legislature if they go ahead with it. The only reason they are not saying it now is because they don't want to turn off the radical left voters.
Biden won't, but Harris most definitely will. The Left does not give a hoot about future elections. If they did, they wouldn't shove Obamacare through the House and Senate in 2009. Biden is 78 and his age is showing tremendously. He's losing his mind and you can tell on his face that he's tired and old. He may NOT make it through four years. The far Left now CONTROLS the Democratic party through their buddies in the media and their Twitter followers. Little bartender Cortez tells Joe Biden to jump, and he asks "how high?".
The moment Biden started saying that a child can decide which gender they want to be, it became obvious that he's OWNED by the far-Left.
Without packing the supreme court, it is highly likely that they won't get any pivotal nominations over the next four years, maybe not even the next eight years. Steven Breyer is 82, so he may retire, but replacing him has little impact on the balance of powers in the court. Also, he may only retire if there is a Democrat president, so he'll try to hang on four years anyways if Trump win. Conservative Clarence Thomas also expressed interest in stepping down, but at 72, he will probably hold out four, or even eight years if a Democrat is president. (Alito is 70, so same thing with him.)
Clarence Thomas is 72 and obese. Sorry, I'm just being blunt here. It's idiotic to assume anything about him lasting another four years. Roberts now sides with the Left on major issues more than the Right. This is far from a done deal for the Right.
With the Left getting more and more Sodom-like, elections are having more and more consequences.
