Good for Rs, but we'll see what happens when D money starts pouring in.

Does money really matter once get to a certain point? Look at the most expensive senate race in history.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

It's a really volatile state with a lot of moving parts. One race was a divided, messy Republican race, which could be difficult to bring together against the Dem. The other is Perdue vs. Ossoff, which is tinderbox, not really a traditional race.

I think this election made it perfectly clear that money doesn't buy elections. In fact there are studies that show (by comparing election rematches) that the amount of money spent has almost no impact on the result.

Obviously, if one side is unknown, and doesn't have the money to get their name out, that would change things, but that's not what we are dealing with here.

I'm sure the Republicans will get GA2 together and win it. GA1 is a tossup. Except 100s of millions on each side.

I don't think it's so far fetched to think Collins or somebody else may take a cabinet position from Biden & let the Maine Governor hire a Democrat senator.

I think the DNC feels their fundraising advantage at the last months helped them clinch this one. Money spent in SC/FL/TX etc  helped divert GOP funds & resources from the critical states.

Either way, people don't spend money because they're sure it will work. People throw money when they care more about the outcome.

The GOP dropped the Wisconsin recount efforts to save their $$ for this one.

WI isn't a lot of money. It's $3M. Relatively speaking, that's nothing, if they thought they had a 5% shot and WI made a difference. If it goes down to those 10 votes, I'm sure they'll do it.

Lawyers and observers make it more than $3m. Knowing Trump they're probably in debt already. WI won't make a difference because Biden is winning AZ+NV+MI+PA and likely GA, potentially even NC.

He's slipping down. Seems unlikely to regain it, unless military comes to rescue.

Is he saying go against the results of your state to put Trump in office?

No, he's saying that if the results are in dispute they are the ones who resolve that dispute.

Which disputes? SCOTUS doesn't decide?

Seems like this comes into play if the vote tallies are invalidated because of fraud. When that happened in a House race, they made a special election, but that's not an option when it comes to POTUS.
