Yes they could, but is it a good thing for some random guy to be deciding to censor political speech because they are of the opinion that it is destroying the foundations of the country? Where else will political speech get censored?

I also dispute that whomever this is (I have no clue who we are referring to) will change one bit about whether it destroys the foundations of the country, quite the contrary. If they are allowed to continue until everything is shown to be stupidities then it will subside. If people start getting censored then it will lead to theory upon theory.
