I can think of many justifications. They may have logs showing nefarious hacking activity. They may know every person who was invited to the call. It’s certainly a lot more credible than Trump’s fraud allegations

AZ - Republicans asked to review duplicate ballots to see if any were copied wrong. A judge allowed them to sample 100 (of 28,000), to see if they come up with any issues. They found that 2 of the 100 were switched by poll workers with one going from Trump to Biden, and one going from Trump to no vote. The judge has not yet ruled on their request to review the rest, but the board of elections offered to review another 2,500.

GA - On election night, Republican observers (and the media) were sent home with the claim that counted had stopped and would not continue until the next morning. For the past month, Republicans have been called conspiracy theorist for claiming that they continued counting during the night. Today, Trump's team released surveillance video showing 4 people staying behind, waiting for everyone to leave, and then pulling out 4 suitcases of ballots from under a table and running them through the machine.

The response I've is that one of the people in the room was an observer from the SOS's office (not sure if that's true), but that does not change the fact that they counted without representatives of the Trump campaign/Republican Party
