It doesn’t go that far back. I have most of them. Haven’t gotten a Fugio yet.

I'm sure many people here have this, so not exactly rare...a dollar coin in a small vinyl pouch that I got from the Rebbe on a Chanukah, probably sometime in the late 80s (it has the date, but I don't remember it offhand).  I have a dollar bill that I got from him as well, but I think a coin was not given often, so relatively rare.

Did the Rebbe distribute these individually to each recipient? It’s possible they were distributed to participants at a Chanukah Live event (with satellite hook-ups around the world) as a memento. I’m not sure either way.

Yes, he handed it to me, after a long wait on line.  I don't remember what the event was.  Maybe @ExGingi would know?

Not a rare coin at all, but I just dropped a quarter out of my pocket and it clanked differently, I instinctively knew it was silver, and lo and behold it’s a 1056 silver quarter. If I calculated correctly the silver content in the quarter is worth like $4

Any suggestions where I can buy lots of old US coins. Looking for cheap coins, like Indian Head pennies, V-nickels, silver dimes, etc.

I used to buy lots on Ebay for between $20 and $60, but it seems like they all got a lot stingier and more precise, so you don't have any variety or potential surprises.
