What are you refering to? Which vote could fix that?
That was just a random example. The point is that the Township Committee directly controls many aspects of the quality of life in Lakewood. If you think the QOL is great (like maybe you enjoy the quality time you get to spend with yourself in your car), vote for the people who have been providing that to you for the past 20 years. If you think the QOL can be better, maybe think about not voting for those who have been there for 20 years. But either way, don't just follow a list for no reason. If you have no opinions and no knowledge than please just don't vote. Instead of cancelling out the votes of people who do care one way or the other.
Was I vague enough?
ETA: The BOE directly controls the bulk of the property taxes that you pay. There is ongoing litigation that can have a massive impact on those numbers. If you like paying lots of property taxes (like maybe you have too much money lying around and you would rather it go to the BOE than to anyone else) , then by all means, vote for the people who wont support that ongoing litigation. If you think having more money in your pocket is a good thing, then vote for the people who are running on a platform specifically to support this litigation (hint: its called "fix the formula"). But either way don't just follow a list for no reason. If you have no opinions and no knowledge than please just don't vote. Instead of cancelling out the votes of people who do care one way or the other.
