The settlement freeze was done by the Israeli Government and is always a standard part of negotiations with the PA.

When trump scrapped the Iran deal, they started enriching uranium again, that seems worst to me than them not enriching uranium. It's hard to know what the right policy on Iran is, but I don't think the deal Obama made was given a fare shot.

It affects me because I care about Israel.  Direct payments to terrorists affects me, Iran deal affects me.  Affecting means affecting my interests as well.
