Booked a car at Hertz TLV thru United (getting 1500 UA points for that) for a week total $147.00, will that be my final price, or will i have issues at the counter?

They will prob add on mandatory insurance that United prob didn't include.

Credit cards don't cover liability. Hence the add-on.

I took a car today from Albar (Thrifty) and they made a fuss about dropping the charge for CDW using my Chase BA card together with a letter of coverage from Chase. In the end I lost. Their excuse was something about "card needs to cover all types of insurance otherwise none". Anyone else had similar experience?

Never hear anyone having such a problem by Thrifty before. What location you pick it up in?
