Renting for the first time in Israel, I do have a Sapphire Preferred but read a few threads where people were forced into extra insurance if relying on the CC's coverage. How does this work when you have primary coverage?

Also Dan or others with Avis CC, any extended benefits in Israel from US Chairman?

If you have a chase card all you need is a document saying that you are covered for cdw. You will have to get 3rd party which is mandatory.

i guess either. planning a trip with 12 total people from TLV to netanya for a couple nights, than jlem for a night and then tsfas for friday-shabbos-sunday, so not sure a driver will want to go around with us like that and would prefer driving anyway. Just want to see whether there is a place that would rent an american (30+ yrs old) a larger van than a 7-9 seater, and i would need automatic.
