As expected, one month after returning the car, I got an email from them saying that they will be charging me for damage to the car, together with two very un-detailed pictures. Fortunately, I took very clear and detailed pictures of all damage to the car at pickup. I sent all the info to Rechev and hopefully it will all be resolved.
Is it worth my time to complain with Hertz corporate about this? I’m not looking for compensation but instead to fight back against this licensee for trying to scam me and others. I know that this branch is a licensee, but presumably they have to maintain some standards and are ultimately responsible to corporate?
