Has anyone used Tamir Car Rental? They are half the price of Noach, and while I have had amazing experiences with Noach, it is hard to rationalize the extra $$$, if Tamir is decent. Can anyone share their experience?

Also, any other car rental companies that you can recommend?

Noach get his cars from Hertz and are located in T3. For those that are arriving at Terminal 3.
Tamir might have decent prices but very difficult to communicate with. They will bring the cars to the airport for you and in case they will bring the car 1 day earlier, you will be charged some extra fees for the airport parking.

if i am an authorized user on my wire sapphire pref card, will i get all the car rental insurance benfits?

what is the procedure these days for israel and making sure i am covered?

Yes.
Some of the agencies require a letter saying you are covered in Israel. You can get that from the cc company.

rented recently from hertz (romema) thru noach - very easy pickup no need for cc letter and got a nice upgrade.

I just called Chase to ask for a CDW letter for Israel and was told starting Oct. 1 there will be a diff company providing the car insurance and rules might change. They are not sure if Israel will stay in...
