looking for a good deal on car rental for 3 weeks in Israel? anyone have any good advice?

- do you have a World MC to cover the CDW?

$165 includes picking up and dropping off at the Airport, includes 3rd party liability ins, I assumed you have a World MC to cover the CDW.

Also its an extra $7 a day if you are under 25.

So if your rate of $200 includes the CDW if you dont have a World MC and includes underage fees if you havent reached your 25th birthday, GRAB IT. Otherwise PM if you want me to book it for you

 It was actually lifted before yesterday but I simply didnt post before then, as there was another party on DD that had contacted me when I was 1st put off DD and on a few occassions was kind enough to have posted what I asked them to, so I emailed them what to post and they simply copied what I emailed them onto DD

 Very few things would bother me and I dont believe moish meant it in a neg way, thats if I remember their handle on FT

 your 1st 1 doesnt include the airport tax if you will be p/u or d/o at the airport so add $27 to whatever they show you they are apx $6 less then I can get it for.Thats if they dont play around once you get there, which unfortunately many do do they sucker you in and once over there they know they got you and load it up with all sorts of extras to get the rate up.They know you cant simply walk over to someone else . I will try tommorrow to see if in fact they are legit.

 also when you go thru make sure you checked off the box Yes for Liability and No for CDW/Theft  , then look at the box right under the quote where it says in RED "Please Note" it says it includes 3500 KMs a day that has to be a typo thats 2188 miles per day. So its either 35 or 350 IMO and anything over I imagine there will be a charge. If its 350 thats not all bad depending on how much driving and to where a person will drive. Since you simply times 350 by the # of days of the rental so lets say a weekly rental = 350 x 7 = 2450 kms allowed. Ive done more then that only a couple of times. if its 35 kms LOOK OUT. I dont believe the contract that will be signed over there will specify 3500 kms per day. i do believe that either 35 or 350 will be written down somewhere and maybe hidden as well

 
 the 2nd one Id suggest staying as far away from as possible their rates dont make sense and they dont show you a break down , so be prepared to get hit with all sorts of extras :-( IMO  Their hotel rates = some more and some less then what others are chargng out there. I just dont get a good feeling about them

car rentals at ben gurion are in terminal 2. you have to take a shuttle from the terminal 3 to get there which officially run every 15 minutes, but you know how it is in israel.

Liability is at least $14/day so the prices listed are a bit cheaper than most travel agents here, but around the same $20-$30/day with a WMC depending on season. Not too good to be true; just looks a bit weird that they are passing themselves off as officially part of Avis.
