I once rented a car from a heimeshe company and discovered a few big scratches near the rear wheel. They charged me about $950. I called the CC (Mastercard) and asked them: I'm filing a claim to get the money back anyway, can you just put the not add it to my balance until I get a response to the claim. They told me no prob. I saw the amount taken off my available credit, but I didn't have to pay any of it until I was credited - and then they put the charge through, which evened e/t out.

Looking for a minivan

Arriving at TLV Monday 26 dec, leaving Sunday Jan 1, thats 6 days, one day shabbes in between.

Best I have is about 90 Dollars a day, shabbes only insurance for a 7 seater

Can anyone help?

thank you for that number! i just called them for a rental in Feb. and i got $34 / a day after all insurance with avis (if i dont have a world MC card) and $26 a day if i have MC card

so ive looked around a little more for my dates and so far Noach Car Rental is cheapest. i didnt realize that the rate i got from travcom (34 a day) was for a class B - and i hate these tiny matchbox cars! and i got $38 a day and for shabbos $15 after all insurance thru hertz for Class C (mazda 3)

Just wondering did you ask Travcom for the price on the Class C?
