Israel is a bad place to learn new tricks...

 yep as they will check out the transmission 1000% when the car is returned any noise or slippage and You will pay for it very dearly

 BTW CDW doesnt cover the damage U cause to the trans

  To those of you that have used  http://www.carrentalisrael.com/car-rentals.asp  ,I had a few questions to ask you before I go ahead with it, if you can address them all .

1- Who are we dealing with? Is this Avis direct, and if so, why does it seem so much cheaper than all other sites?   

2- All that's not included in the price, is the third party insurance of around $14 a day, so for a 2 week rental i would tack on about $200 on top of the $150 that's being quoted for a Mazda 3? (I do have World mc)

3- From your experience, is the $27 airport fee already included in the quoted price of $150?

4- And finally, what is the exact price I pay? I understant that they have a rate in Shekel which they convert to Dollars. So at what point do they do the conversion, so I know my price in dollars. Is it now when I make the reservation, or when I take out the car, or when I return it and need to pay?

1. 3rd party company, but if you give them your wizard number the res will show up on avis.com but it may look a little funny.
2-3 Sound right, but the $27 charge is not included in the rate.
4 There's no way to know the full price until you get to Avis and they will tell you the total price in dollars.  For me the actual daily rate was even cheaper than quoted.

if not I'll be 21 soon, to rent at 21 do you need a corporate to get rid of underage fees, how does it work??

I rented in Israel as young as 22 and and many times since and have never paid an underage fee there.
It's definitely not as strict as in the US.

You don't need anything to rent in Israel I have a friend from Montreal who rented a car from Avis with a health card!!! It had a picture and was in French so they couldn't read it

There is no underage fee in Israel from Avis at least from 21 but possibly even 19

about renting in US without underage fees you have to find out the AWD # that don't charge for underage!! There are some out there, speak to some bocherim in yeshiva they know them all!! (sorry its not in my position to give out the AWD that I'm using now    )

Sorry, no such luck. 21 is the absolute minimum age for renting in israel

Since http://www.carrentalisrael.com/car-rentals.asp  is a third party website, do they have different rules than when booking directly from a car rental company?  Meaning, that you don't pay anything up front, and if you don't end up doing the reservation, there is no breach of contract or money being paid?
