Does the Citi AA Visa Signature CC (platinum level) still cover Israel...on the letter of coverage I got in January it doesn't list an expiration date and the email doesn't mention anything about 60 days...

I cant call to verify since it's administered by Chubb insurance and they're closed until monday morning and rental is today...

Anyone get verification of this recently...don't want to take any chances...TIA

i didnt hear anything but still dont want to take any chances...have you used it more recently w/o an issue and/or verified it?

anyhow...do you get reimbursed for the deductible or you end up having to pay that just the excess is covered?

Well the rental would accept it either way, if there would be issues, it would just be when getting reimbursed.
There is no deductible.

Anyone have any helpful info regarding long term rentals/leases in Israel... i.e. 3-6 months...how does the insurance work...etc;

dont know what you asking about insurance, but if you mean CC insurance, than they definitely wont cover more than a month rental.

I heard about 900 NIS, but like you said you are responsible for insurance, ect.

I want to use my US license to rent the car and get the $ tariff, and drive legally because I have an Israeli license.

Any advise or clear answer? It is important to know, not just to convince them to rent to me but mre importantly in case something happens ChvSh.
