I am looking to rent a full size minivan such as a Grandis for Succos from Wednesday afternoon,  9/11/13 to Sunday night, 9/29/13, total of 19 days at TLV. The Mazda 5 would normally be fine for my family but as I am renting in the the airport it would probably not be large enough for our luggage.

The best prices I was able to find without doing much reseach before insurance was $1263  for a Grandis ($982 for Mazda 6)  through Avis via USAA and  $1231 for Grandis ($1026 for Mazda 6) with my Sixt Platinum. I will have the Chase World Master Card so I will only have to pay the mandatory Liability. (I know its almost as much as the full insurance)  These rates do not take into account Shabbos and Y”T days.

Where else can I look to get better rates?  I'd appreciate any advice and tips.

I'd be happy to get quotes from anyone here.

And if you rent it by Hertz, you will need to pay VAT, even you hold a B2 Visa, as its considered a commercial vehicle

Hertz does not allow to decline the CDW on Minivans

And the rate by Avis should be 1171.00 including LI and Airport fee, - To book it, contact 1 of the Million car rental agents in Israel. (and get a promise for a "Shidrog").

Does anyone know the charges the rental car companies charge after the quotes rate on kayak for example, for insurance? Also including if you do have world MasterCard for insurance?

I see quotes of 190 for intermediate car for 2 weeks.
