Pay ConEd with no fee

Throughout the years, when people asked how to reach a spending bonus, I recommended paying
National Grid - pay $600 for $2.25 fee.
or ConEd - pay $1500 for $3.35


I just paid ConEd with a cc and it was FREE.  So I saved $3.35 - 0.2% of my payment.
I automatically paid $1500.  I assume all payment amounts are free.


For those trying to churn this and do it on a large scale, I don't know how much they let you over pay or in what form they refund you. 


I use this for a small amount of points, consistently.  and for new card spending bonuses.
