I just came across this thread, and found the reply below to be (somewhat) most accurate (most addictive, but not food).

I would respectfully ask @jj1000 to split this thread into two distinct threads (or three, if also adding beverages), one for food and one for snacks.

In the snack department, Lieber's Kettle Cooked Potato Chips (probably made by Wise) are way up there, and while I don't get them often, I find it quite impossible to stop once I get my hands on good corn nuts. The obvious caveat for both of those is that the only acceptable and good flavor is Salt!!! (or should I say anything with Sugar or Maltodextrin or anything of the sort in the ingredients is unacceptable).

For food, there's the obvious one that everyone knows and I'm not even going to mention, and way up there is good Schmaltz Herring (again - nothing with any sugar in it!!!)

Potatoes in general seem to be very addictive, in many forms. A good salt-and-pepper lokshen kugel is high up there too.

I don’t think anyone on DDF has mentioned “Finger Lickin Good” brand mustard (it comes in a jar like their other sauces and is kind-of a sauce too, it was really good.
