Does anyone know why United one-way flights from TLV to EWR are so expensive?

Must be a pricing glitch. United is pricing at $1841 one way from now all the way through next year but $840 for the whole round trip...

Not a glitch. Very common for intercontinental flights to price higher for one way.
Book a round trip and you can even get partial credit for canceling the return (after taking the first flight).
