You'll get the pop-up message if you're not eligible for the bonus, without pulling your credit.

For other reasons. I was referring to not receiving the bonus because the applicant had the card before.

Got the offer on Firefox incognito but got the popup “based on your history with credit card balance transfers, American Express welcome offers, introductory APR offers, or the number of Cards you have opened and closed, you are not eligible to receive the welcome offer.”

And then “would you still like to proceed ?”

Its not a hard 7 years. 5-6 years is fine IME.

Do you get the popup warning or you risk doing the minimum spend and find out you weren't eligible?

I got the same thing , is there anything to do about it?
