Looking for someone sending a lift to the NY area from Jerusalem. I need to send a lot of seforim.

Does anybody have any other ideas?

If your seforim were purchased at Shanky's he ships them for you to the states for free (if you spent $1,800). If you didn't buy your seforim there he may still work with you and give you a good rate. There is another guy who does seforim shipping for very good rates, I don't know any contact info for him but you may be able to find out if you hock around by the Mir

Ok, I did the hocking for you. There is a guy by the name of Boruchman and he is a seforim distributor, from what I hear he charges $1 per kilo. I don't know his # but he is located in Geula somewhere near here. Near the sign for the clinic there should be a machsan which is his place.

Wow! Thanks for the help! Still looking for somebody taking whole life or at least a big chunk of a lift to NY it would be much cheaper. (I got a quote for 1 cubic meter at over $1000(!) per CM, 3 CM at around $600 per CM. IIRC, if you take a whole lift, it's about $15 per CM maybe less. So if anybody hears of anything....

Charges ₪2.60 per kilo, min 60 kilo.
Takes about 4-5 weeks to get to Borough Park (did that for AsherO). Once it gets there you have 2 days to pick it up.
He'll pick it up from your house (ground floor only) for an additional charge. (10 boxes would be around ₪150).
