I have a Kyocera Cadence Phone which I'm trying to lock without bringing it to tag and messing up the phone.
Meaning many guys who have this phone said it constantly shuts down on them, and they can't remove the locks and are blocked from putting apps and whatever else on the device.

Vs this lock can be removed by wiping the phone to factory default.

https://www.apps4flip.com/oddsnends/

https://www.apps4flip.com/installation/

https://www.xda-developers.com/what-is-adb/

I tried reading through all these sites and downloaded onto my computer the files needed to run the command prompt for a windows computer (powershell I think it's called on a windows 8.)

Placed the phone in debugging and then connected to my computer trying to run the commands to see a list of installed programs, and that way I can manually run the script and remove them.

But as you can see after executing a command I get that error that it's not recognized and ect...

So my alternative was to use this site with there preloaded locks and filter,
https://kosherappsforflip.wixsite.com/kosherappsforflip/kyocera-candence

That site worked fine, but I would like the wifi and hotspot removed as well. Using there program it doesn't offer that, while if I can manage to get the programs to run and I can execute the commands myself I can try to remove it.
If I actually get it working but would love to try to install a program vs wiping the entire phone.

If anyone knows a bit and can tell me what I'm doing wrong here.

Attached is two screenshots of my commands I ran.

One is the pre programed and one is the manual entry.

Manual command window.

Pre loaded filter, just connect the device and choose from the 5 things to remove. Text, browser, email, Verizon cloud and some other thing which I removed(not sure what it even was.)

Seems that you're missing the ./ when running the shell pm commands (it's there when doing the ./adb.exe devices command.)

Appreciate your help.

I did try that originally but had no luck, wasn't on the system to be able to remove.
It's for the LG Exalt, hence the LG in the text.

He does write this is for the LG Exalt, and many of the commands work for other 4G phones as well.

Don't see the word hotspot, unless there's no way to remove it with the command prompts?
Wi-Fi I don't really care about as there's no browser on the device.

While hotspot you can give to someone else internet which I wouldn't want on the device.

I wonder if the reason why no one else ran the code for the hotspot on the Kyocera Cadence was because you can't remove it with the prompts?

Also tried installing back the files, had no luck either.
Any chance its not possible to reinstall on this device without factory resetting the device?

I don't know for sure, but I would assume that uninstalling it takes it off the phone, and you would have to download the package again before you reinstall it. Not sure if it's available for download, though.

Just my assumption.

My guess is that it's in this:
package:com.qualcomm.qti.tetherservice

That probably took off the usb tethering, or hopefully, and not something important. The hotspot on the cadence is not as simple to remove because it doesnt have its own package, rather its part of the settings package. You would need to disable the specific action of that app. I have tried that in the past but I kept getting an error, but I am pretty sure that is the right direction.

I don't think I've seen it removed from anyone's device, except when you click on it, it pulls up an error.
Vs there other apps are all shaded gray as the packet is not installed.

I would strongly recommend you use https://webadb.com. It is way easier then figuring out how to download and run ADB on your computer.

When running the device through this I'm getting the error unable to claim interface.
I've connected my device before. Now it's not working.

Eta, was running other commands in the background.

If you figured out already how to use regular adb, forget about webadb.
The regular adb will make you less problems.

Heres two screenshots of the apps on waze and Google maps. Screen is taken over by the next step in the directions.
