Does anyone have any experience with wool shoes, like Allbirds or Baabuk? How do they hold up? Do they need shatnez testing?

I’ve been eyeing Allbirds for a while, but they seldom go on sale and I’m afraid they’re not so durable.

I have had a few different pairs of allbirds. I've alternated two pairs for weekday (m-f) wear and they lasted me about a year (each) so figure maybe 6-8 months if you wear them daily.
