Yes, go under mentions in your account and there should be an icon which allows you to tick the box or check the box which allows email notification for every meantion.

@Wizard Very simple to turn on mention notification, go under profile and then a drop down menu of the last option being mentions which tells you when you were mentioned, and there should be a tiny box to check off should you want to get an email notification that you were mentioned.
