Sixt in Miami

Asking because so many pay the charge for GPS -- Nothing  would surprise me if car rental co's. would have some kind of block in the car ( Marriot did that with wifi at hotel conference rooms  ) -- I believe many people have a removable GPS in own car  -- for the cost of renting for 2 weeks a year can BUY a GPS

has anyone brought own GPS  and used in rental car

GOOGLE always coupons around - after  you book "call" them and ask for better price - i have always gotten  - but never tried 3 days b4 pick up date

I reserved from sixt when I went to Mia a few weeks ago. National was more expensive than everywhere else so I decided to try something new.
They wouldn't give me any upgrade. Just the Camry I reserved. Then the agent asks if my wife will be driving. I say yes but you don't need to add her on since she's my wife. He says ok just needs to see her license.
In the end the bill with the extra driver and other fees was same as national. I asked the guy about the starwood benefits with sixt, he had no idea, I told him if he can't upgrade me I'll just go use my executive club over there. And that's what I did. Sixt charged my card and emailed me an invoice for one day, I emailed them saying I never rented and the refunded  me.

Not a pleasant experience. That agent was a jerk tacking on fees, and because of him I'll never use sixt again.

i had an amazing experience with Sixt in TYS, don't let one agent ruin it.

IIRC they were upfront about the fact that even the wife costs extra to drive so we didn't add her. they said if something came up and she needed to drive we could call and do it over the pone.

Some cars have an age requirement of 25 y/o & some have 21 y/o any way of avoiding this requirement for a 23 y/o to rent a car with the 25 requirement? & is there underage fees for any of the cars for a 23 y/o?

I've rented a few times there , over 21 no additional charges, including an x3, mustang convertible, etc..
Had great experiences every time!

Many were just booked online, car rentals.com for example.
There are many promos around, I've gotten many emails from them lately.
Usually under the $50 mark, but with these promos , it's even less.
