He says outside, it could mean outside the Capitol, it could mean outside the chambers, and it could be simply a cover for the actual plan to breach. It’s grounds for an investigation into their complicity, which I’m sure will happen.

Also, even outside the Capitol roaring at congressmen ‘To put maximum pressure’ on them to do something illegal is textbook sedition. I should remind you there are credible allegations Republicans voted against impeachment today out of fear for their families lives.

Until you have evidence that a member of congress gave a tour of the building knowing that it would be used to scope out for the next day, this is nothing more than grandstanding. If you have evidence that a member of congress allowed a tour knowing they intended to storm the building, that member should face consequences.

The fact that it may be used as a distraction isn’t a reason to neglect justice. When the Iron Curtain fell, the Russians didn’t prosecute the old guard to foster unity and shortly thereafter the KGB/Putin came back into power. Chavez & Hitler were ousted and ostracized before they came back and took/won power.

Of course that doesn’t mean the justice shouldn’t be fair.
