Yup. And now savannah area stopped counting until the morning with just approx 20,000 votes left. We know what that means.

Idiots can’t learn from their mistakes *sigh*

Two thirds of Georgians said that they are suffering economically, and then you have 2 senators who are millionaires and got richer by trading stocks then they deny people $2000 during a pandemic.
Good job McConnell and Republicans!

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”

There is a difference between if it's during a pandemic, or when people are financially secure.
During a pandemic if you come out against helping the poor and lower middle class, you will lose.

All it takes, is a small 5% of the population that normally leans Republican, who during the pandemic are suffering, and they flip to D.

Look at the 3rd race, in Georgia, Republican Buuba McDonald for public service commissioner, and he looks like he will win. Because his job wasn't going to bring money to voters

There was never a point in history where the total value of accumulated stored wealth was greater 6-7x/worldwide annual income, and there's a theory that the masses are guaranteed to seize it back from the rich. Talk of breaking up big tech is similar.

If there's one thing 2020 has taught us, it's that it's not over till it's over. Unless one of them is dead, they may still push for a comeback - and maybe even if they are dead.

And only 3 out of 33 respondents here called it.  8)

The other thing 2020 taught us is that the comebacks don't work.

I voted before Trump came out and stabbed them in the back.

This election was decided by rural Trumpster Republicans staying home when he wasn't on the ballot, and AA Dems who turned out in record numbers for Dem hand outs. The AA turnout was consistently high before and throughout Trump's $2000 push.

Trump hurting Republicans one way or another was predictable. Heck, Lindsey Graham called it in 2016.

As long as you don't pack the courts, and make Puerto Rica and Washington DC into states.
You can't have your cake and eat it too

There is a reason that Republican Bubba McDonald got over 2 million votes so far, while currently Perdue or loeffler are below.
It is extremely uncommon for a down ballot candidate to get more votes than the top guys.

Therefore, it shows enough Republicans came out to vote, but either didn't vote for Senate, or switched to Democratic in that race.

The question is why? Some people will blame Trump, but I see that Bubba McDonald is up in the other race, so there were enough Republicans voting.

Therefore, I think it's more the economics, rather than trump.

That was predictable. Would look bad for him if R senators won in GA when he did not.

Just like last time, in the overnight hours is when they cheat.
Take Dekalb county, which suddenly in the overnight hours runs into technical difficulties, and starts counting manually...

In the last vote drop in Dekalb, 3341 votes went to Ossoff, and just 62 votes went for Perdue. That is 98 to 2%. A half hour earlier there it went 6600 to 500, 91% to 9. Its never comes in so extreme during hours when most people are up and watching....

For anyone tuning in first thing in the AM -
Most (if not all) decision desks have called the Warnock race (for Warnock)
Most have not called the Ossoff race yet, except for Decision Desk HQ (for Ossoff). He has already taken the lead, and that is only expected to increase from here on out.
