If what youre saying is true -then why didnt the republicans in charge in Georgia halt counting until daytime. Probably because what youre saying isnt true...
Trump moved the needle the wrong way this time around.
He held a rally in a district he won 69-30 in 2020. He was trying to boost the numbers. Yesterdays turnout was 70-29. He didnt move it enough and cost the R's votes in Atlanta. Also look at the counties where the candidates are from. Warrnock carried his county which previously had more R votes.
Perhaps republicans need to do a self assessment and re-think what they did wrong and what they stand for. If youre a party for the people then stand up for the people... by failing to get the stimulous money and ppp before November it cost them the election. If biden and his majority govt push through stimulous and ppp and do somethign again in 2022 they will take hold again. Republicans need to work on 2022 and building a strong candidate for 2024 to take on VP Harris.
I hear your point, but on the other hand if you watched Gabriel Sterling last night you would understand why he was rooting for the Democrats. He was the lead official from the secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, who was in charge of the election. If you listened to him in all the interviews last night, it seemed as if he was even rooting for the Democrats to make a comeback.
But what do u expect. After the pressure trump put on the Gov and secretary and state, they had to prove that they will get the same dem results now, as in November, so that trump shouldn't be able to say that they cheated just by him.
