Yad Vashem maintains a Shoah Victims Database, and a record exists there of a "Nathan Katz" who fits the description of Leah's father: Born in Rava Ruska in 1898, living in Brussels, from where he was deported to a concentration camp in 1944 and presumed dead.  His wife's name was Chana.  Is this Leah's mother's name?  The information was submitted by his son, Yoseph Katz, who would then be Leah's brother.  But this was submitted in 1981, at which time Yoseph was living in the Rova Hayehudi, Rechov Habikurim 14.

Was Leah aware that he was in Israel?  Does she know if he had other family there?
I don't tweet, maybe someone else can convey this to ShimonR

Never mind, someone already posted the Yad Vashem info on ShimonR's twitter.
