Instacart deactivated me

For some reason my account was locked and when reached out to them they deactivated it, I don't recall doing anything specific against their terms other than a refund here and there for missing/incorrect items or receiving referral coupons for referring. Anyone else ever have this or know how can go about this?

Recently I've also had major issues with them, that although I can still place an order, I cannot get a refund for incorrect/missing items which I don't think I abused either.
To the point where last week I ordered something from best buy which needed a signature when delivered and I wasn't home so the shopper just took it with her and I was charged anyway! I tried countless times to reach out to them by chat/phone and nothing helps

I have seen on Reddit and SD comments of people reporting the same of accounts being deactivated without a reason.

Did you load gift cards beforehand? Have several accounts etc?

No but family members ie spouse have an account.

I actually have about $100 in gcs in my account.  Are they allowed to legally take it away. Are there any remedies to pursue, obviously would be difficult to get a lawyer just for this

Call your CC company and file a charge back for good not received but you'll be blowing up your account

You can file complaints with your state AG and/or CFPB but they should give the amount to your state unclaimed funds office, in a few years.
