That's the difference between me and you.

I argued with them about camps and schools and shuls being closed and even though we totally did not agree on a lot of stuff, I did not call them haters.  My kids still went to camp.  They are still in school.  And b"h we still daven with minyan every day (I don't count how many are there, I could care less as long as there are at least 10). 

But that doesn't mean that now I can't agree with them about chilul hashem. (And lets not get into the mistake part, just move on.)  No need to jump down my throat or anyone else just because they said something you slightly disagreed with.  You can argue respectfully too.

Meaning there are plenty people out there who hate chasidim, just like there are people who hate all other minorities. But all I saw on this thread was legitimate criticism. Whether you agree with the criticism or not (you don't) that doesn't make it hate.

I don't think there is hate by some members against chassidim (maybe there is, if yes it's very few and they don't scare me at all), but you went from ALL members on here hating chassidim, to SOME.  Which is good.

I still strongly disagree that adding fuel to people that don't like chasidim is smart ... for ever reason that they don't like you and giving strangers on a public forum more fuel to hate chasidim is silly

An opinion to share is one thing,
But in other hand the haters are using your words to clearly voice their opinion with hate is very wrong and still call it hate , maybe you don't chap what you do, but these haters are building bridges on what you fuel them with facts

And there are a lot of people here, yes chassidim, who agreed with those posts and said so. So are we all chassidim on here that are voicing our opinion giving fuel to the haters?  Nope, wrong.

I have a secret for you:  If anyone is adding fuel to any fire, it's you.  Make a cheshbon hanefesh and rethink your approach on how to spread ahavas yisroel.

And I'll add something else - you give yourself permission to come here and attack everyone else in the name of defending chassidim against the haters here.  But when someone else says they're also defending chassidim (but in a different more respectful way) then they are giving fuel to the haters???  How exactly does that work?

Don't take this the wrong way, but a lot of haters say that the reason they hate chasidim is because of lack of reason and logic. Your posts blaming all criticism on hate fuels that and has a bigger effect than chasidim saying the wedding was wrong. I don't mean to justify anyone that does say something along those lines and I wouldn't even have mentioned it if not for your post. I'm not blaming you at all and I hold everyone responsible for their own opinions irrespective of any individual's opinions.

I don't think it's paranoia or anxiety. I think it's what happens when natural defensive tendencies are mixed with a complete lack of nuance. It becomes a binary world, where if you don't love me, you must hate me, and if you're not with me, you're against me. This isn't new here, although it may be a bit more extreme than what we are used to.

I've been laughing straight through.  Like I said in an earlier post, I was inclined to stop arguing at one point but I was having too much fun.

All you need is one such paranoid guy and you get a 30 page thread in less than 48 hours.

Not bad for a forum with a high percentage of chassidic posters .
