Because it's hard to separate facts from feelings.
In my family, every time someone doesn't feel well, everyone gets tested, it's an enourmes schlep and pain in the butt.
And bh most of us tested negative. It's also the virus makes no sense, many people I know, a husband or wife got it, the others didn't.
But the idea that everyone had it, is patently false, as much as we will ourselves to believe that the worst is over.
It's like surviving the earthquake and ignoring the tzunami.
What level of exposure guaranteed immunity?
What will happen with real exposure and subsequent reinfect?
What about people who thought they had it but didn't ?
Just stuff... And I realize we all want to get back to normal life.
I don't have the answers, but it's good to be cautious in general.
I'm reminded of the sign in the coffee shop bathroom "employees must wash hands..." Then under it "you too, don't be gross"
If everyone washes their hands with soap, covers their coughs and sneezes, ensures they get enough fresh air, exercise, healthy eating, vitamins and nutrients, that would be great.
The issue with living in this era is a twofold problem of chronic obesity and political correctness.. you can't body shame oriole but I mean there's clear scientific co-relation between obesity and covid deaths..
