T-Mobile has posted an internal memo saying that the original account segment qualifier has been added properly. This could mean that the original terms required for the promo have been actually added now. Adding the line yourself is at your own risk now, as it may no longer add the promo to accounts that aren't notated as eligible.
Basically starting today it doesn’t matter what plan you have if you’re told you’re ineligible then adding a line yourself definitely won’t qualify you.
