Did you bother trying to explain the inquiries, and that you prefer their product, and that you don't care for a small CL etc?

I did. She was smooth and deflected everything. I am going to wait and see if I get the same targeted offer that my wife got on the personal (750/month for 3 months gets 15k miles), and focus on that before trying to churn the personal card again in my year end AOR.

New to this:
Monday 2bm Amex - PRG 25k sign up bonus - approved
Starwood amex - 30k bonus - approved

Thursday- 3bm chase business:
Ink bold - 25k after first transaction (another 25 after reach the required spend - don't think ill make that
Ink plus - same deal as ink bold
United mileage plus explorer - 25k miles for first spend + 10k if reach spend (don't think that will happen)

All 3 chase applications went to review. I called to check the status and ot said 2 weeks foir 2 cards and 7-10 business days for 1 card. I called reconsideration and the rep processed one card (ink bold), but said that chase could only approve 1 business card per 30 days (this was after long conversation about my business). I did a HUCA and got same result so I did another HUCA and that rep explained that the reason that they could not pus the other apps through was that I am a new business customer with no business history with chase. He tolf me to use the ink bold for a few months and then try again.
About 2.5 hrs later, the rep who I spoke to second called me back and said that he spent a lot of time on my apps and that he thinks that bc I have a personal chase card, he can move some of that credit line and split it amongst ink plus, united and personal. I told him ok and now all 3 apps are approved. Should be receiving the cards soon.

Got the 7-10 Days Pending message on all of them . What does it mean could i still get approved with out calling recon (bad experience with them for my self ) ?
If it helps i am a secondary holder on my wifes Mileage Plus card exactly a year old.

You def MIGHT be approved but personally I'd call.

should i call right away or wait for the letter?
 Isn't it to risky to call with my ss ?they will see i applied for 3 cc  .

I'd call right away. Sometimes they mention I applied for 2/3. Sometimes they don't.

Sometimes one rep helps me approve all the cards and sometimes I just hang up and call again for the next card.
Just sound like you know what your'e talking about and why you applied for 3 cards and you should be ok.
And ask to deal with the cards in order of preference so that in case you can't get all 3 approved for whatever reason you have the ones you want the most.


Also, try to just move credit around without actually closing your old cards.

My wife finally gave me permission to apply for cc for her. I did a 3bm for chase SP, BA, and UA. They are all pending. She has great credit. Can I call recon for her or does she have to call? (she doesnt want to)
