Assuming -

There is no automatic gratuity included (Separate topic >:( ).

High end ($300? for 2) and you are paying for the meal out of pocket.

Restaurant located in USA.

Max 6 people as groups are usually automatic tip amounts.

20%+ of the service was reasonable, especially if it’s not a very large bill.

Almost everywhere has a mandatory gratuity (usually 18/20%) in which case I never add a cent.
