This article seems to have the most data on why they think it's more transmissible. I'm skeptical

I see by today all the articles are quoting that 70% so I'm not going to be posting a bunch of links. They aren't even sure of that anyway. Just says "could be" and/or "up to" 70% more...

Same way there is little data proving that the variant is more transmissible, there is even less data that the modeling comes from Ferguson. Seems like they jumped from Ferguson being present at the meeting to him being responsible

They are testing the mutated virus in blood samples from vaccinated people, results expected in a few days.
It is highly likely the vaccine will work.

Once that guy is involved, it takes overwhelming evidence for me to believe there's anything. So far the evidence has been pretty shaky, and it's probably because he's involved.
