This is a tiny study, but it’s saying 14 days quarantine won’t be enough for the new variants, and governments may start assuming there’s a possibility it’s true

New variant identified that’s been found on multiple continents (UK, Denmark, Nigeria, and the US) as far back as December. B.1.525. 20+ cases cropped up now in two nursing homes in Norway. It has E484K and other mutations that are found in U.K. and South African variants that imply higher transmissibility.
