Is there any packaged Chummos that doesn't taste too commercial?
Like for guac, homemade is the way to go.

I really like the Hope brand.  They have many flavors and premix them, which I like; it annoys me how Sabra does it.  I especially like Hope's Thai coconut curry chummus, but I am far from a chummus connoisseur.

I'm not much of a Chummus fan, but when I was in EY I found a semi-commercial brand which was amazing (small print said that it was owned by one the widely available brands). Haven't seen anything similar in the US.

Is it good because they are mini, and you don't have to eat a whole portion?

I like "sunny joes". They have one with little chickpea pieces in it and makes it taste and feel homemade

I think store bought guac is much worse than store-bought chummus.

+1. I think their hummus is better than most of the store bought ones, though it still doesn't taste great to me.

I am a big fan of some of their other products though. Their babaganoush is incredible (with a great smoky flavor), and their tahini is top notch.

(BTW, it's a Flams brand, IIRC.)

Just like my experience in EY. One owner two different brands with totally different levels of quality.

In Israel I had this brand, sold in mayan2000, small clear container with a big punt in the bottom of the container. Whatever the flavor (pine nuts, cherif, etc.) It would be a ton of it covered in oil. Best chummus I ever had.

Side note. Walmart brand gauc (comes in a 6 pack of minis) is better than sabra IMHO.

Description matches the one I liked in EY. It had Badatz Eida Chareidis Kashrus.
