Not really. I’m seeing $610 trade in value for iPhone 11 Pro Max which is likely worth more than $610. If you trade in an iPhone 7 or 8 you get it for $700+ which is still a decent price but nowhere near $389 (Samsung) or $399 (your post).

I got the unlocked s20+ from Microsoft for $850 and got a $400 trade in for my S9.

I guess it depends what you are trading in. They tend to offer a lot for SAmsung devices. I got it to $415 giving in an s10e with a cracked screen.
