As per my phone conversation with onepass, their mindset is still with skyteam, and so is part of their computers (!).

As CO classes of service go up from coach/economy to first and then to business-first, as opposed to all other who have economy-business-first.

Basically it seemed that when booking non continental flights (on star alliance) with them, a first class will be much less mileage then a business one.

Please please, don't check back and forth with them so that we should be able to enjoy it for a while, and definitely no posting on FT.

Ps: to reduce the time on the phone with them, check the posibilies before calling them, because they have no idea.

Which F ticket did you book at a cheaper price?

BRU-FRA biz LH

FRA-IAH biz/first CO

IAH-EZE biz/first CO

EZE-FRA first LH

FRA-BRU biz LH

Now the bru-fra route does not have  first (1 hour flight), and the way out did not have 2 places, so I had to take CO, BUT the CO business/first made this booking more expensive mileage wise. If it would have been LH first on the outward too, I would have had to give less mileage.

Just a question: CO said that those place were only available as I'm CO plat, can it be confirmed (I kept it on hold) with a regular onepass account?

How many miles was this ticket?

Did you reserve it from a plat account? I'd be very interested to know if a non-elite can confirm (XN) elite coach award or a platinum (O) first award.

plat 150k
That's the correct amount.
Europe to South America is 70K each way in Business and 80K each way in First.
As you're going in Business and coming back in First it's 150K.

So there are O class segments on CO?
Did you try booking it from a nonelite account online?

I got the mileage info before and after they knew I was elite.

If both directions would have been on First with LH the ticket would have been 140k...

Once again: Just a question: CO said that those place were only available as I'm CO plat, can it be confirmed (I kept it on hold) with mileage coming from a regular onepass account?

My guess is that if both were LH it would have been 160K...but try booking another itin with both ways F and let us know.

PM your PNR and I'll take a look at it and see what the platinum segs are.

Got the PNR.

The IAH-EZE segment is booked into O class (Platinum Elite BusinessFirst award) but I have no idea why?!?
It is available in I class (standard non-elite BusinessFirst award).

Also I can confirm that the BRU-FRA-IAH-EZE segment is the 70K segment, and EZE-FRA-BRU is the 80K segment due to going in first class from EZE-BRU.

Also for the record I made a booking from my Silver account for an XN class reward (Elite coach award) and it seems to allow a non-elite to purchase it, but I didn't actually click purchase because I didn't want to risk it...

If any non-elites want me to check XN class elite coach reward availability (I know EWR-TLV often has a good amount of XN availability that only elites can see) for them I'd be happy to.  I will be able to hold it and then you should be able to book it using your non-elite account.
