The reason I shared the tweet was because of the irony of the actions of the fellow and the unfortunate ending, not the content of the specific message shared. I already said I don’t agree with the actual tweet.

I may not agree with the “facts” quoted, but I have no problem with the *type* of post (which is what we were discussing).

Of course in the analogy he brought there is the additional factor of it being anti-Semitic and possibly inciting hate but that just makes it a bad analogy. There is no such concern with Mr. Letlow. You sometimes say analogies are straw-men, this might be an example.

We're going to go round in circles. The crux of the matter is the argument over how to react to Covid is anything but clear cut, and using the death of someone who promoted a different response to the one you agreed with is disgusting. And you can claim from today till tomorrow that you wouldn't have an issue with someone on the other side of the fence spiking a football with suicide or lockdown-related death, but we both know that's false.
